Tommy, Tilly, and Mrs. Tubbs (1936)-- A belated sequel to The Story of Mrs. Tubbs, this one features the same characters plus two children (who are not, however, the Tommy and Tilly of the title). And the plot is essentially the same, too: Mrs. Tubbs is homeless again, and once more her animal friends are determined to find a roof for her head. Illustrated sparsely by the author, Tommy, Tilly, and Mrs. Tubbs is another of the currently impossible- to- find books by Lofting.
