Doctor Dolittle's Post Office (1923)-- This one is set sometime between the first and second stories (since in it, the pushmi-pullyu is part of the Doctor's household but Tommy Stubbins is not). This time around, the Doctor re-visits Africa and encounters both wicked European slave traders and an African King with Western ideas. After dispatching the former, he proceeds to assist the latter in setting up a proper Post Office ... one which, it turns out, will be able to serve the local animals, as well.
